Chelsea showed passion and great promise for classical music since early childhood. Growing up, she collected many prizes in piano competitions of various levels, At age 11, Chelsea was awarded “Special Commendation for Young Talents" in the 13th Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists in Germany. At age 13, Chelsea won the "Junior Eppan Prize" in Eppan Junior Academy in Italy. She was the 2015 winner of the prestigious Nordmann Scholarship at the Juilliard Pre-College. In June 2016, Chelsea won the Young Artists Concerto Competition in Piano Texas. She has won 1st prize at the 2015 American Protégé Voice Competition and performed in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
Chelsea has actively performed as a pianist on the radio and at various concert venues, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall (NYC), Harris Concert Hall (Aspen, CO), Ishikawa Music Hall (Japan), Chapelle historique du Bon Pasteur (Montreal, Canada), Paul Recital Hall (NYC), the U.S. State Department (Washington DC), PepsiCo Recital Hall (TX), Ed Landreth Auditorium (Fort Worth, TX), Millennium Park (Chicago), and Dwór Artusa Toruń (Poland). At age 8, her performance was broadcast on WQXR’s “Young Artists Showcase,” At age 13, Chelsea was featured on National Public Radio's Grammy-Award-winning “From the Top.” At age 14, Chelsea appeared in "Concerto Pianisti Dal Mondo" in Brescia, Italy. She has given eleven solo recitals since age 11, including eight presented by professional concert series and private supporters. Chelsea has performed piano concerti with the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra (China), the New Britain Symphony-Connecticut Virtuosi Orchestra (US), the Napolinova Chamber Orchestra (Italy), the Torun Symphony (Poland), and the Midwest Young Artists Symphony Orchestra (Chicago). In June 2016, Chelsea performed with the Fort Worth Symphony under the baton of Maestro Barry Douglas.
Chelsea has participated in many major music festivals in the US, Europe, and Asia, where she studied with masters like Paul Badura-Skoda and Arie Valdi.
Chelsea is the singer and keyboardist in her church's youth worship team. She loves reading, writing, dancing, and cooking.
